Like you, we spend a lot of time in HubSpot.
So when new features land, we tend to notice pretty quickly. And sometimes, it’s the most subtle updates that make a BIG difference in how Sales and RevOps work every day.
Here are a few of our favourite HubSpot updates (and rediscovered features) from this month!
Would you agree…? 🤔
1) Personalisation Token Fallbacks in Email Templates
You’ve been able to set fallback values in marketing emails for a while. But now you can do the same thing in sales and service email templates too!
That means no more jarring “Hi ,” greetings if someone’s first name isn’t stored in the CRM.
Instead, you can set something like “Hi there,” as a clean fallback.
Impact for teams:
Emails feel more personal and polished, even when data isn’t perfect.
Reps can use templates with way more confidence.
No need to worry about blank spaces when sending sequences and automated workflows

It’s a small tweak, but one that smooths out a real workflow pain point!
2. Coloured Tags (Not new, but very good!)
Okay, this isn’t technically a new feature, but we’ve been using it a lot lately!
Coloured tags are one of those underrated little features that make a big difference in how teams see their pipelines.
You can tag deals, tickets, or contacts visually based on criteria you define. For example:
Ready to close - deal close date is less than 30 days away, or
Region
Or Stalled (has been in stage for more than x days), or
High Value – deal amount above £XK
Dream Client – fits your ideal customer profile
Impact for teams:
Makes scanning a pipeline way faster, no digging into each record.
Keeps everyone focused on the right deals.
Makes deal management more proactive (and honestly, more satisfying to look at).

Also… colourful pipelines are just nice to look at, aren’t they?
3) Pipeline Cloning
And last but certainly not least…admins can now clone existing pipelines across any CRM object that supports multiple pipelines, such as Deals, Tickets, Leads, even Custom Objects!
Why this matters:
No more manually recreating pipeline stages when setting up a new team or region.
Reduces setup errors and keeps things consistent.
Makes scaling processes 10x faster.
If you’ve ever spent a painful afternoon trying to replicate an existing pipeline stage by stage, this feature will feel like a small miracle.
Why these matter
None of these updates is are “headline features” on its own, but together they remove a lot of friction.
And honestly, that’s why we love doing these roundups. We get to rave about the things that make RevOps teams run just a little smoother, and help you spot features that might’ve flown under the radar! 🫡
Over to you 👋
Have you spotted any HubSpot updates recently that made your day a bit easier? We’d love to add them to next month’s list!
